In June 2024, Balance has introduced new innovation through a new shape & formula offering a higher protein intake.
“Balance Shots” is a drinkable ‘on the go’ protein snack that offers more protein (20 G) in 70 grams of signature flavors; Sweet Cheese, Sweet Heat, and Sweet Corn.
In August 2024, Balance Puffs was introduced; keeping same authentic formula with the highest protein compared to the competitors (15 G) in 70 grams pack .

In 2020, Egypt Foods Group spun off the confectionery as a separate business unit from its salty snacks business.
In October 2020, Novy brand was launched as the mother brand for the new business unit. Novy is the sweet part of Egypt Foods with more than 40 products within 5 different categories: CHOCOLATES, CAKE, BISCUITS, JELLY & WAFER with multiple flagship sub-brands like (Blazo, Torta, Spaghetuss, Magic Fingers).
Novy provides consumers with high quality products of good value for money.
In January 2022, Novy launched 3 new products in 3 different segments: Magic fingers coated wafer filled chocolate in the coated wafer segment, Torta Swiss roll in the Swiss roll segment.
In 2023, Novy launched a new category which is: Marshmallow with the brand Marshello.
Novy is set to be the cornerstone in a new breakthrough stage for Egypt Foods Group.
Chocolate
Meet Blazo, the superstar of Novy’s 5 categories. Blazo is an irresistible fusion of chocolate, wafer, crispiness, and caramel, creating an experience that delights with every single bite.Blazo hits the market in 2021 and became a favorite product to many consumers.
In 2022, it made the first campaign featuring celebs like Abdelbaset Hamouda, Taha Desouky, Ayten Amer, and Donia Maher.
Blazo is now available with 5 different skus with different price points to cater all consumers.
Wafer
The Jelly category contains one of the most beloved and purchased products for the Egyptian society, Spaghettus as well as one of Novy’s rising products: Jenjo.
Spaghettus is a long sweet string that has been a well-known brand for Egyptians from the past as it brings back a lot of memories and nostalgia for the old generation.
Spaghettus range consists of several tropical fruits’ flavors including Strawberry, Apple, Pineapple, Mango and Cola.
Jenjo was launched in 2020 and consisted of small jelly bites with cola flavor. Another sku was added recently which included
Jenjo sour jelly bites.

Cake
Torta is the flagship brand for cake, it is one of the most selling products at Novy, available in Layer cake & swissroll cake.
Layer cake is available in different flavors including coffee, Torta rolls comes in different flavors: chocolate vanilla filled, white chocolate, strawberry uncoated, chocolate filling chocolate.
Marshello is one of the recently added categories to the family of Novy.
Marshmallow is perceived as one of the key elements to any gathering. Consequently, Marshello’s main mission is to become the core gatherer to any get-together and enrich the sense of sharing among its consumers and develop strong connections among themselves.
We started off Marhsello’s range with the Mixed flavored sku in April 2023 that is comprised of Strawberry, vanilla, apple, banana, watermelon. Furthermore, we quickly enlarged the family to include Marshello Twist , Marshello Pink& white and Marshello Mini Twist.
